Thank you for your interest in Algorek's SkillIt Academy™. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Services (as defined below) provided by Algorek Edutech Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our"), a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, as amended.

Algorek Edutech Private Limited offers various services, including but not limited to:

• Online and offline courses
• Educational content
• Mentor support
• Training platforms
• Learning-related activities

(collectively referred to as the "Service"), accessible through our official website at www.skillit.co.in, email communications such as support@skillit.co.in, and through digital platforms including mobile applications, WhatsApp groups, Facebook groups, and our social media presence on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

Definitions

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned below:

• "Candidate(s)", "You", "Your", or "User": Refers to any individual who has paid for and enrolled in any Course offered by Algorek Edutech Private Limited. This may include executing a student agreement (or similar agreement) or agreeing to additional terms specified by the company.
• "Platform": Refers to the official website www.skillit.co.in (collectively, the "Website"), and any other platform, including chat groups, social media pages, and web portals hosted by Algorek Edutech Private Limited, which may allow access to or usage of Algorek's SkillIt Academy™ services via any device or medium.

Legal Recognition

These Terms constitute an electronic record in accordance with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011, as amended from time to time.

Important Notice to Users

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY.

They include important information regarding your legal rights, responsibilities, and available remedies. This document also includes limitations and exclusions of liability, along with a dispute resolution clause that outlines how any disagreements will be handled.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website or enrolling in any training program offered by Algorek Edutech Private Limited, operating under the brand Algorek's SkillIt Academy™, you ("User" or "Candidate") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN, PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING THE PLATFORM OR ACCESSING OUR SERVICES.

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notification. Continued use of the Platform or Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Services Provided to Candidates

Algorek Edutech Private Limited, through Algorek's SkillIt Academy™, offers structured, domain-relevant training experiences that include case studies, hands-on projects, and assignments to facilitate a holistic learning journey. Candidates can enrol in a variety of industry-aligned programs, such as:

• Frontend Development
• Full-Stack Development
• Data Science
• Data Analytics
• Data Engineer
• Advanced QA Testing
• Advanced UI/UX Design

These courses are delivered in the following three stages:

Stage 1: Course Completion Stage

• Candidates are required to complete their respective course within the stipulated duration.
• Upgrades to different or extended programs are permitted, subject to availability and payment of applicable fees.

Stage 2: Live Projects Stage

• Upon course completion, Candidates must participate in mentor-assigned live projects designed to provide real-world industry exposure.
• Details of these projects are confidential and cannot be shared outside the platform.
• All projects must be completed within one month of commencement.

Stage 3: Placement Assistance Stage

• After successful completion of projects, Candidates become eligible for placement assistance for a period of one year.
• This assistance includes access to placement-related tools and job opportunities facilitated by the company.
• After the one-year period, placement services will cease, and access to the course will be revoked.

Summary of Service Period: From the date of enrolment, services include course duration, +1 month of live projects, +1 year of placement assistance. Post this period, course access and placement benefits will be discontinued.

3. Modes of Learning

Candidates may choose among three modes of learning: Offline, Online, and Hybrid.

ii. Online Mode

• Candidates begin their learning journey remotely after onboarding.
• Daily schedules must be adhered to, and doubts can be addressed via designated community groups.
• Post-course, eligible Candidates will be enrolled in the one-year placement assistance program.
• A transition from Online to Offline mode is only permitted within 15 days from the date of course access initiation that both course modes are running concurrently. After this period, such conversion will not be permitted.
• Any form of academic dishonesty, including plagiarism or cheating during assessments, will lead to immediate disciplinary action, including possible expulsion from the course.
• Algorek Edutech Private Limited reserves the right to modify schedules, course content, pattern, duration or policies without prior notice to ensure the quality and integrity of the learning experience.

4. Enrollment and Payment

Enrollment into any training program offered by Algorek Edutech Private Limited, under the brand Algorek's SkillIt Academy™, is subject to availability and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Eligibility Criteria for Enrollment

Candidates seeking admission to any course must meet the following conditions:

• The Candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
• An academic qualification in any specialization is acceptable.
• Technical or professional experience will be considered.
• Candidates must successfully pass an entrance assessment administered by Algorek's SkillIt Academy™.
• In the event of failure, candidates are permitted to retake the test after one week.
• Only technical experience relevant to the chosen course will be taken into consideration for eligibility.

i. Course Pricing

• The pricing of Courses and associated Services will be communicated to the Candidate in advance and may vary from time to time.
• The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of checkout and purchase confirmation, whether on the platform or through any authorized external payment link.

ii. Payment Process

Payment for the selected training program must be completed in full prior to the course start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Candidates may choose from the following payment options:

• Manual Payment:
• Payment can be made in full at once or in installments, as per the agreed structure.

iii. Payment Deadlines

• For Manual Payment:
• 50% of the course fee must be paid before from the date of joining.
• The remaining balance must be settled within 7 days from the date of joining.

Please note: All payments made are strictly non-refundable.

5. Support

Algorek Edutech Private Limited provides online support services exclusively to registered Candidates of Algorek's SkillIt Academy™. Eligible Candidates may reach the support team via email at support@skillit.co.in.

Please note:

Any communication made through channels other than the official email address—such as personal phone calls, text messages, personal emails, or in-person conversations—shall not be considered valid and is strictly discouraged.

Our support team will make commercially reasonable efforts to address your concerns or resolve technical issues in a timely manner. However, any guidance or suggestions provided regarding the use of the Platform shall not be interpreted as a warranty or guarantee of outcome.

6. Refund Policy and Withdrawal

All payments made towards course enrolment are non-refundable. No refunds shall be issued under any circumstances after registration is completed, regardless of the reason for withdrawal or discontinuation.

a. Pre-Booking Refund Policy

Advance payments made as pre-booking are non-refundable. No refund requests will be entertained once payment is made.

b. One-Time or Partial Payment Refunds

All one-time or instalment-based payments are strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether the course has commenced or not.

c. Payments Made via Loan

All payments made under a loan financing option are non-refundable. Algorek Edutech Private Limited is not responsible for any loan-related disputes, cancellations, or EMI modifications. No refund shall be issued under any scenario once payment is processed.

d. Loan Foreclosure

If a Candidate voluntarily chooses to foreclose the loan:

• The Candidate is solely responsible for completing all related formalities with the lender.
• Algorek Edutech Private Limited shall not be involved in any loan closure process.

Foreclosure amount is calculated as: Disbursed Amount + Foreclosure Charges – EMIs Paid (if any)

e. Additional Refund Conditions

• Seat reservation charges and related costs are non-refundable once payment is made.
• This cost covers infrastructure, resource allocation, and administrative overheads.

7. Course Change Restrictions

• Changing the enrolled course is permitted only during the Demo Course Access Period.
• After making partial/full payment, or once a loan has been disbursed, or after gaining access to course materials, course changes will not be permitted, and no refund can be initiated for such requests.

8. Loan and EMI Modifications

• Once a loan has been approved, all matters related to EMI plans, tenure modifications, and KYC are the responsibility of the Candidate and the loan partner.
• All matters related to loan and EMI are solely between the Candidate and the financial institution. Algorek Edutech Private Limited does not issue refunds or intervene in such matters.
• Algorek Edutech Private Limited shall not intervene or facilitate any post-approval loan modifications.

9. Mode Switching

• Switching from Online to Offline mode is only allowed during the Demo Course phase. Post full access, switching is restricted. In emergency cases, a fee of ₹50,000 will apply for course change.

Important: Requests made via chat, text, or phone call will not be considered valid.

10. Course Pause, Extension, and Mode of Learning Conversion

Course Pause Policy

Courses offered by Algorek's SkillIt Academy™ cannot be paused under regular circumstances.

In the event of a serious medical condition, the Candidate may request a pause in the course; however, such requests are subject to management discretion and approval is not guaranteed.

Course Extension Policy

If a Candidate wishes to extend the course beyond the originally agreed timeframe:

• The Candidate must formally request the extension.
• The extension period is limited to a maximum of one (1) month.
• An additional fee of ₹30,000 shall be applicable for the extension.
• A revised schedule and updated curriculum may be issued as part of the agreement.
• Both the Candidate and the institute must mutually agree on the revised terms.

Batch Change Policy

• Batch changes may be requested only if seats are available in the desired batch.
• Frequent batch changes will not be entertained.
• All such decisions must be made during the initial cooling period post-enrollment.
• No changes will be guaranteed beyond this window.

11. Attendance and Participation

All Candidates enrolled with Algorek's SkillIt Academy™(Algorek Edutech Private Limited) are expected to maintain a high standard of discipline, professionalism, and active engagement.

Participation Expectations:

• Regular class attendance is mandatory.
• Candidates must actively participate in all sessions and learning activities.
• All scheduled interviews arranged or facilitated by the organization must be attended.
• Daily coursework and schedules as outlined in the course calendar must be completed diligently.

The organization reserves the right to dismiss any Candidate who fails to meet attendance, engagement, or behavioural expectations.

Note: Dismissal due to non-compliance will not be eligible for any refund under the refund policy.

12. Code of Conduct

All Candidates enrolled with Algorek's SkillIt Academy™, operated by Algorek Edutech Private Limited, are expected to maintain the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and respect throughout their training journey.

General Behaviour

• Candidates must behave in a professional and respectful manner at all times, both in physical and virtual learning environments.
• Any form of harassment, discrimination, misconduct, or disruptive behavior will lead to immediate dismissal from the program without any refund.

Academic Integrity

• Plagiarism and cheating are strictly prohibited. These include (but are not limited to):
• Submitting someone else's work as your own
• Unauthorized collaboration
• Use of external aids without approval
• The use of anti-plagiarism tools will be employed, and Candidates will be informed beforehand.
• Violations will result in academic penalties, disqualification from assessments or interviews, and in severe cases, notification to relevant academic or professional authorities.

Professional Integrity

• During interviews or any professional engagement facilitated by the academy, Candidates must represent their skills, experience, and qualifications truthfully.
• Misrepresentation or false information in resumes or discussions will lead to disqualification from the selection process.
• Reference checks may be conducted to verify the authenticity of the information provided by Candidates.

Policy Enforcement

The organization reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including but not limited to termination of enrollment, for any repeated or serious breach of the above Code of Conduct.

13. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property related to the educational programs and content of Algorek's SkillIt Academy™ is solely owned and protected by Algorek Edutech Private Limited.

a. Ownership of Course Materials

All instructional materials—including but not limited to the curriculum, lesson plans, assessments, videos, and digital content—are the exclusive intellectual property of Algorek Edutech Private Limited.

Users do not acquire any ownership rights and may not reproduce, distribute, or modify course materials without prior written permission.

b. Trademarks

All trademarks, logos, service marks, and trade names associated with Algorek Edutech Private Limited and Algorek's SkillIt Academy™ are protected assets. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or public display of these marks is strictly prohibited without explicit written consent.

c. Proprietary Information

Candidates may be exposed to confidential information, including trade secrets, business processes, and technology frameworks.

Candidates agree to:

• Maintain the confidentiality of such information
• Use it only for educational purposes
• Not disclose, reproduce, or repurpose it in any form

d. Limited License

Candidates are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials solely for personal educational purposes.

Commercial use, reproduction, or redistribution of any course material is strictly prohibited without prior written approval.

Modifying, reverse engineering, translating, or creating derivative works from the materials is prohibited.

e. User-Generated Content

By submitting any content (e.g., assignments, projects), Candidates grant Algorek Edutech Private Limited a royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to:

• Use
• Reproduce
• Modify
• Distribute

such content for educational and promotional purposes.

f. Enforcement of Rights

Algorek Edutech Private Limited reserves the right to enforce its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Any Candidate found violating this policy may face:

• Legal action
• Termination of access to all educational content and services

Note: Candidates are permitted to use course content only for their own educational growth. Sharing, selling, or unauthorized distribution to third parties is strictly prohibited.

14. Reviews and Feedback

By enrolling in and using the services of Algorek's SkillIt Academy™, operated by Algorek Edutech Private Limited, you acknowledge and consent to be contacted via email or other electronic communication channels by Algorek Edutech Private Limited for the following purposes:

• To gather feedback regarding the services and overall learning experience
• To respond to complaints, queries, or concerns raised by you

Any feedback submitted by you may be used by Algorek Edutech Private Limited without restriction, and the company is under no obligation to maintain its confidentiality or to provide compensation for such feedback.

Complaint and Feedback Mechanism

Feedback is regularly collected from Candidates to improve our services. If you wish to raise a complaint or share feedback, you may do so through the following channels:

2. Relationship Manager: Reach out to your assigned relationship manager

Once your feedback or complaint is submitted, it will be reviewed promptly:

• The Relationship Manager will assess the concern and escalate it to the relevant team.
• The issue will be addressed within 5 to 7 working days.
• If your concern is not resolved, you are encouraged to follow up by email after the initial 5-day window.

We strongly encourage Candidates to provide detailed feedback regularly, enabling the management to identify concerns and take timely corrective actions. Your insights play a vital role in enhancing the overall learning experience.

15. Certification

Upon the successful completion of a course, Candidates may be awarded a certificate, provided they meet all criteria and requirements set forth by Algorek Edutech Private Limited. These requirements may be updated at the company's discretion.

Eligibility and Certification Policy

Certificates of Completion are issued to Candidates who have:

• Completed all problem statements and assessments during the course
• Fulfilled all academic and participation criteria set by the academy
• Successfully completed the final project
• Demonstrated the project in a live setting

Discretionary Issuance

The issuance of certificates, performance records, or any formal acknowledgment of completion is entirely at the discretion of Algorek Edutech Private Limited. The company reserves the right to:

• Determine the format and content of certificates or credentials
• Decide whether or not to maintain or disclose any record of a Candidate's performance
• Modify certification criteria or formats without prior notice

Hiring Pool-Based Certification

Participation in a course does not guarantee certification. Certification is conditional upon successful selection into the official hiring pool of Algorek Edutech Private Limited. Selection into this pool:

• Is at the sole discretion of the company
• Is governed by the internal selection criteria and terms

Only those Candidates who are officially selected into the hiring pool will be eligible to receive an Algorek SkillIt Academy™ Certificate.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Algorek Edutech Private Limited, its affiliates and subsidiaries, as well as their respective employees, contractors, directors, suppliers, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of, or access to, the services provided by Algorek's SkillIt Academy™
• Your violation of these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law
• Your infringement of any third-party rights in connection with the usage of our services

Algorek Edutech Private Limited reserves the right to assume exclusive control and defence of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you. In such a case, you agree to cooperate fully with the company in defending the matter.

17. Limitation of Liability

Algorek Edutech Private Limited shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from:

• Use or inability to use the services
• Loss of data or profits
• Business interruptions or system downtime

In no event shall the total liability of Algorek Edutech Private Limited exceed the amount paid by the Candidate for the enrolled training program.

a. Service Disruptions

While Algorek Edutech Private Limited strives to provide uninterrupted access to its educational services, it shall not be held responsible for:

• Server downtime
• Technical issues
• Scheduled maintenance or unforeseen technical failures

In the event of service disruptions, the company will use reasonable efforts to restore access promptly but shall not be liable for any resulting inconvenience or losses.

b. Data Loss

The company implements industry-standard data protection practices. However, Algorek Edutech Private Limited shall not be liable for:

• Loss or corruption of data
• Unauthorized access to user data, including personal and academic information

Candidates are encouraged to back up their data regularly and report any concerns regarding data security to support@skillit.co.in.

c. Unforeseen Events (Force Majeure)

Algorek Edutech Private Limited shall not be held liable for failure or delay in fulfilling its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Government actions or regulations
• Pandemics or public health emergencies
• Acts of war or terrorism
• Other force majeure events

In such cases, the company will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and fulfill obligations as soon as possible.

d. Consequential Damages

To the extent permitted by law, Algorek Edutech Private Limited shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, special, or incidental damages
• Loss of profits or business opportunities
• Interruption of educational or professional progress
• Damage to goodwill or reputation

e. User Responsibilities

Users acknowledge that:

• The limitations of liability outlined herein are reasonable and proportionate to the nature of the services offered
• They will not hold Algorek Edutech Private Limited liable for any damages beyond the scope of this clause

f. Legal Exceptions

Nothing in this clause is intended to exclude or limit liability in any way that would be unlawful under applicable law. Any liability that cannot legally be excluded will remain enforceable to the extent required by law.

18. Termination of Services

a. Termination by Algorek Edutech Private Limited

Algorek Edutech Private Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its services, with or without prior notice, in the event that a Candidate:

• Violates any provision of these Terms and Conditions
• Provides inaccurate, unverifiable, or misleading information
• Is reasonably suspected of engaging in illegal, fraudulent, or abusive activities
• Engages in any behaviour detrimental to the learning environment or the reputation of Algorek's SkillIt Academy™

In such cases, the Company may also pursue any other legal remedy available under applicable law.

b. Immediate Termination Without Notice

Termination may occur without prior notice if the Candidate engages in any of the following prohibited actions:

• Use of abusive language, misconduct, or disruptive behaviour towards peers, mentors, or staff
• Formation of unauthorized groups to disturb or influence other learners against the institution
• Dissemination of confidential personal or organizational information of instructors, mentors, or staff members
• Sharing learner-specific data, internal emails, or personal grievances on public forums or group chats
• Acts of harassment or aggression that impact the educational experience or create a hostile environment

Upon termination or suspension:

• All account-related data may be deleted or destroyed at the sole discretion of Algorek Edutech Private Limited
• Fees paid will be forfeited, and no refund shall be issued
• Provisions such as warranty disclaimers, indemnities, and limitations of liability will continue to remain in effect beyond termination

19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Candidates are encouraged to first contact the support team of Algorek Edutech Private Limited in the event of any concerns or disputes.

To raise a dispute:

• Submit a formal email to support@skillit.co.in
• Provide a clear description of the issue, including relevant details and any supporting documents

All dispute resolution procedures and the interpretation of rights and obligations under these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Telangana, India, without reference to conflict of law principles.

Jurisdiction:
All legal proceedings and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Telangana, India.

20. Grievances

Algorek Edutech Private Limited is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent grievance redressal process for all Candidates of Algorek's SkillIt Academy™. Disputes and concerns will be handled promptly, professionally, and respectfully.

Grievance Resolution Process

a) Informal Resolution
Initial efforts will be made to resolve concerns amicably through informal communication and discussion between the Candidate and the relevant team.

b) Formal Complaint Submission
If unresolved, Candidates may submit a formal written complaint detailing the issue and supporting evidence to support@skillit.co.in.

c) Investigation
An impartial investigation will be conducted. The Candidate may be asked to provide additional information, and progress updates will be communicated throughout the investigation.

d) Resolution
A final resolution will be communicated to the Candidate. It may involve corrective actions, refunds, or other appropriate remedies.

e) Arbitration Clause
If the dispute remains unresolved after the above steps, both parties agree to binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

• Venue: Hyderabad, India
• Arbitrator: To be mutually agreed upon
• Language and proceedings: As per the governing law

21. Miscellaneous

• If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be limited or removed to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
• Failure by Algorek Edutech Private Limited to enforce any right or act on a breach shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or any subsequent breach, unless expressly waived in writing.
• These Terms are personal and non-transferable by the Candidate. Any assignment or transfer of your rights requires prior written consent from Algorek Edutech Private Limited. The Company may transfer or delegate its rights and obligations without notice or consent.
• No agency, partnership, joint venture, employment, or franchise relationship is created by these Terms. Neither party has the authority to bind the other in any third-party dealings.
• All notices under these Terms must be in writing and are considered valid when:
• Personally delivered
• Sent via registered or certified mail with acknowledgment
• Emailed with electronic confirmation
• Delivered by recognized courier service within two business days

Force Majeure

Algorek Edutech Private Limited shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Acts of terrorism or war
• Government orders or regulations
• Pandemics, epidemics
• Power outages, civil unrest, or severe weather conditions

The Company will make reasonable efforts to resume services and fulfill its obligations as soon as feasible under such circumstances.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with the Privacy Policy and any other applicable guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and Algorek Edutech Private Limited regarding your access and use of the Website, Application, and Services.

• If any provision is deemed unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
• These Terms may be updated from time to time without prior notice. By continuing to use the services, you acknowledge your acceptance of any changes.

Termination & Cancellation Policy

• Cancellation requests are not accepted after a program has been purchased.
• Refunds must strictly adhere to the terms outlined in the Refund Policy.

Disclaimer

Algorek Edutech Private Limited makes no guarantees regarding employment or job placement as a result of participation in any training or educational program.

While the Company offers placement assistance and support, Candidates are solely responsible for their career outcomes and employment decisions. The Company shall not be liable for any job offers, employment expectations, or career progression.
